China National Tourism Administration (Australia and New Zealand) has been able to bring together a collection of the most memorable China travel experiences through the eyes of a variety of outstanding Australian and New Zealand leaders who have enjoyed an engagement with China in their own special way. This book is dedicated to promoting “Beautiful China” and highlighting China as a “must see, must experience” tourist destination for Australian and New Zealand people. These are the stories of 20 outstanding Australian and New Zealand leaders who are emotionally attached through their experience of China and are committed to developing positive communication and exchanges between our countries. They have become China’s tourism ambassadors as they have generously shared what they saw, heard and thought about during their journeys in China. Their travel experiences, whether long or short, recent or in the past, are all vivid, unique, earnest and sincere. These are records of “Beautiful China” - of urban and rural, of culture and nature. They are a window of Australian and New Zealanders learnings of China, and a positive strength in passing down culture and deepening friendship and communication.
