This application is an in-depth instruction of the 20-Meter Circle. The 20-Meter Circle is a foundation for both horse and rider from beginning Dressage levels, Western Dressage to Grand Prix. The purpose and geometry of the movements is explained and demonstrated with both Trot and Canter videos. Exercises are demonstrated on a highly schooled horse and a young horse for comparison. An interactive quiz is available to help you test your knowledge and retain the application material. Every time you take the quiz a random set of 5 questions will be selected from the pool of 18 questions. We do have one quiz question that is missing an answer. We will be fixing it soon.Carole Grant provided the technical expertise for the application. The video voice overs are provided by Tonya Grant. Tonya Grant is a dressage trainer who has won both the USDF Gold and Silver Medals in 2002. Tonya’s Dressage trainers have included her mother Carole Grant, her late father Chuck Grant, the late Sally Swift, Klause Balkenhaul, Michelle Gibson and Susan Harris. Carole Grant is a world-renowned clinician and dressage trainer. She has owned and trained countless international horses to Grand Prix, and trained riders all the way to the Olympic level. With her horse Percy III, she represented the United States at the 1982 World Equestrian Games in Lausanne, Switzerland. She earned two Gold Medals at the 1983 Pan-Am Games in Venezuela.
