Philips Lifeline is the leading provider of medical alert services in North America. Caregivers of Lifeline subscribers can now have receive incident notification directly on their iPhone using 2together.
How this application works
If a Lifeline subscriber presses their waterproof help button, we contact the subscriber and send a personalized response. Emergency services may be sent, or the subscriber may ask that a responder be sent. A responder is a neighbor or local family member who has agreed to provide assistance. Lifeline subscribers may also identify notifies: people Lifeline should call in the event of an incident. Notifies are typically family caregivers who live at a distance from subscribers.
This app gives both responders and notifies an additional way to hear from Lifeline. Should an incident occur, you can receive a notification directly through the application. This post incident notification is in addition to the phone call you’d normally receive.
Getting Started
You get started with 2together by registering—quickly providing information about yourself, and the about the Lifeline subscriber you care for. You need to be a designated responder or notify of a current Lifeline subscriber for this application to function. Our systems will verify the details you have provided, and then, if an incident should occur, you can receive a notification directly through the app.
For example, a caregiver attending a business meeting might not be able to easily answer a phone call, but could discretely receive a notification using 2together.
