If you require a small utility to quickly query the status of a listed stock on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) then this simple, easy to use, and lightweight app maybe of use to you.

ASX Stock Query is not intended to manage your share portfolio, track performance trends, or flag when to buy or sell, etc. It has been developed as a simple interface to check the latest movements of a listed stock. I built it more as an academic exercise in accessing data over RESTful Web APIs.

There are no special permissions required, other than Internet access to retrieve the queried stock information. The app is tiny and completely ad-free too!
