AccuSpeed allows law enforcement to clock vehicle speeds without the need of a radar gun. It uses a courtroom-accepted method, distance/time, to determine the vehicle speed*. It uses the Android device's built-in timer which determines the time to the nearest millisecond. AccuSpeed calculates the vehicle speed based on the distance and time traveled and then displays it on the screen. AccuSpeed Pro can save the information such as the date and time of the violation, location of the violation, distance traveled and the amount of time spent traveling the distance. The information can be later retrieved for courtroom testimony or emailed for off-device storage.

AccuSpeed Pro's survey mode can be used to conduct traffic surveys. It automatically calculates the mean and standard deviation of the samples collected. As with traffic enforcement information, the survey data can be stored on the device and emailed for off-device records.
