You have the ability to calculate the flow rate, head, horsepower and cost to operate a centrifugal pump by varying the pump shaft speed or the impeller diameter. You can enter the operational time in days and hours. I would suggest utilizing the performance curves from the manufacturer so you can determine what your pump efficiency will be at the operating parameters. As always, consult your vendor with the results obtained to ensure you have selected the correct pump, impeller, mechanical seal, bearings, motor, etc. to ensure you are getting the right pump for your application.
