'Virtual' works when you and your phone are within 15 miles of the points to be located. In this view, the phone populates freeze-frame reference arrows for every location within the view of the camera. In the 'map' view, Google maps are integrated to combine GPS technology into your phone. This works well to view all the points in the dataset from any location, even if far from the points of interest. Or, use it while en route to your point of interest while a passenger, or hiking, or boating.
