Alberta Wildlife Watch is an Alberta Transportation application that records wildlife observations, including location, and species. This information is included within Alberta Transportation's Wildlife Movement Monitoring Study to identify important wildlife movement corridors along Highways 63 and 881, from which a wildlife-vehicle collision mitigation strategy will be prepared to assist Alberta Transportation in their efforts to improve highway safety. The wildlife movement monitoring study will be implemented by specific highway sections as construction is completed. The application includes a detailed guide to assist in the identification of species.
