Field technicians who work on 'Alert' transmission equipment can now use their Android phone to decode the transmitted alert data.

This application decodes 300 Baud FSK data transmitted in the common Alert 1 protocols, BDF and IFLOWS.

Just connect your RF scanner audio output to your microphone input, or hold your built in microphone next to the scanners speaker.

This app decodes data from Handar, Campbell Scientific, High Sierra, and other alert transmitters.

This app does NOT decode the Alert 2 protocol.

The display will show the last 100 decodes(scrollable), and you can send all decodes from the current session in an e-mail if you choose.

Add current GPS location to decoded messages for site identification later. (If you enable your GPS)

Output format of the GPS data field is, lat:lon:alt(meters):bearing:speed , or "Unknown" if the GPS data is unavailable.

And optionally data can be saved to the device in a text file.

Notification Area information while decoder is running

If the 'System Performance' stays below 50% for more than 3 seconds, your device is probably not fast enough to do the best possible job.

Add Notification area message to show the decoder is running in the background. (complete)

Microphone/Camera - to Decode the alert data using the microphone.(Required)

Storage - Save decoded data to a file on your device

WakeLock - to keep the device active, so we can decode if your screen is off
