APP DESCRIPTION

Altimeter is a clear and easy to use altimeter for your iOS device. Large, high contrast text is usable in a wide variety of conditions.

The data is updated in real time as the device moves, and altimeter is designed to be used in situations where a continuous reading is desired

Tapping the unit labels will allow you to toggle between feet and metres independently for each reading.

For best results outdoors and in areas with no network coverage, launch the app and allow the device a couple of minutes to obtain a strong GPS signal.

ACCURACY

Altimeter currently provides the most accurate altitude reading system available on the App Store.

Altimeter also has a huge database of mapping data to calculate the AGL and elevation readings. However, because this data is supplied by external companies, the accuracy of these readings can vary greatly.
