American Songwriter on the iPad is 'The Craft of Music' delivered digitally. From the publishers of American Songwriter Magazine, covering the stories behind the songs since 1984, the App provides the rich media experience of video, streaming, contesting and inspiration -- built around the content of the best songwriting magazine in the world.

What’s in the American Songwriter iPad App?

How does American Songwriter’s subscription feature work?

--Downloading the current App is free, along with the May/June and July/August issues

Subscriptions to the digital edition of American Songwriter Magazine can be managed via your iTunes account. An annual digital subscription is $7.99 (6 issues per year). American Songwriter publishes bi-monthly print and digital issues in the months of January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, November/December. Bi-monthly, single issues are $1.99/issue. Payment will be made through the iTunes store to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be provided. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription. Any additional app editions that may be published by American Songwriter such as, but not limited to, a Special Editions, will be sold as stand-alone in-app purchases and will not be part of this subscription.
