I learned to take care of animals, sew and craft just about anything from my mom and grandma on that farm.Then, I worked in the corporate world for 20 years, but always dreaming of my own business. So, when my daughter learned how to groom dogs, I decided to leave the cubicle world, use the business and crafting skills plus grooming to successfully open Home Treasures by Lori--doing business as Amore Pet Boutique in Norwalk, IA on 5-1-2013. My daughter grooms the dogs and I groom the kitties, guinea pigs, rabbits, and other furry friends. I also attend to the customers and do all the retail side of life here at the shop. As for the sewing and crafting-I still do those, too! I sew custom coats, apparel, beds, blankets, make jewelry and other fun stuff for pets or the people who love them.I love the shop and will continue to work hard to provide the best grooming services, pet daycare, pet supplies, and custom items that our customers want.
