The one way SMS gateway for Android devices

Ever wanted to be able to send an SMS in case of emergency from your server or service to your android device? Here you go! Free and easy!

An administrator used to monitor his servers and services. In order to get informed about problems or downtimes, he usually needs to watch the monitoring by himself or the monitoring application itself sends emails or SMS to inform the administrator.

But automatically sending of SMS, especially if there would be more than one or two SMS per day, normally needs a SMS gateway that costs much money.

The androidgateway.de uses another way to solve this and to provide its service:

Your monitoring scripts or applications may use GET or POST requests to our API, to send the SMS. An App on your android phone then polls the androidgateway API automatically in an interval you can define and gets the SMS through an HTTP request. This way there are no costs at all for you, except the normal costs for your internet connection on your android phone. But you also are able to tell the App to only poll for SMS if there is a wifi connection activated.

This Trial-Version supports as many free SMS as you want or need, but each SMS will only contain the first 30 characters of your text and each SMS sent by your service will produce a second SMS with the notification to buy the Unlocker (only -,79 Euro-Cent!).
