Andromeda is a brand new Windows Phone 7 arcade game from Woden Independent Games. Play as an Andromeda ship, seperately controlling movement and firing direction as you fight waves of enemies. As they become more difficult to defeat, you become stronger through advancement in any of seven upgrade types. Gameplay is simple and fun, however a series of unique challenges give rise to a much higher level of difficulty - completing all challenges will be no easy task. Mastering a unique color-matching system with items dropped from enemies will be crucial in scoring well. Try and beat the high score in the newest arcade game for the Windows Phone 7!

Features include:

-Simple and intuitive controls for simultaneous movement and firing.

-Many different enemy types, each with different behaviors.

-Seven upgrades each with many ranks: rate of fire, number of cannons, ship speed, item drop rate, health total, shield duration, and bomb radius.

-Two useable special abilities: a temporary shield from all damage, and a bomb which destroyes all nearby enemies.

-A unique color-matching system used to increase a scoring bonus.

-A series of twenty-two challenges in a range of difficulty, designed to add new dimensions to gameplay.
