AntiSnore monitors and records the individual sleeping behavior and reliable detects snoring sounds by analysing the microphone input of the last past seconds.

The device gets placed upright in the breast pocket of the pyjama and earplugs get connected to it. These are ought to be comfortable to lie with and should have soft retaining brackets so they can´t get lost while sleeping.

The app notices via the hardware accelerometer the current sleeping position. If snoring is detected an initially silent sound of a mosquito starts to fade - but only on one earplug. In doing so the side is depending on the current sleeping position.

This encourages the snorer subconsciously to turn away from the source of noise and to change his position that way.

To avoid waking the sleeper the sound softens immediately as soon as movement is detected. If the sleeper hasn´t changed his sleeping position enough and snoring continues the sound starts to fade back in until this takes place and snoring stops.

All parameters in this process (trigger limit, max. volume, fade-out volume, fade-in duration, fade-out duration) are easy and individually adjustable.

But AntiSnore is more than just a snore prevention. It is also a very usefull sleep laboratory for recording and monitoring your sleeping behavior during the night in detail.

It logs all sleep events like movement, changes of sleeping position, snoring, maximum snoring volume and displays this data clearly as chart and also as logbook.
