We highly recommend NPR's own excellent streaming application if you'd like to choose stations outside your area.If you are outside the U.S. or do not grant location permission, Public Radio will tune you into Areaware's home - New York City stations.The app is intentionally simple, offering few choices. We have chosen local public programming because of its mix of local, national, and international news, and because it is less influenced by commercial interests. We are currently working on an app for areas outside of the U.S.Public Radio works best when used with a strong wifi connection.
