Audi MMI® connect App – short description:

Enhance Audi connect within the MMI® Navigation plus with new features from you smartphone (A3 since November 2012). Directly send navigation destinations or photos from the smartphone to your car. You can also access your music library on the phone via Wifi connection or control a huge variety of internet radio stations in the MMI® Navigation plus and much more.

Audi MMI® connect App

The MMI connect App offers new additional features for the customers of the the new A3 who decided to order the MMI® Navigation plus with MMI® touch and Audi connect with their car.

With an existing myAudi account (my.Audi.com) and the App you can easily use features also from outside the car to enhance the functionality of your MMI® together with Audi connect.

• You are searching for a drugstore, restaurant or florist within your vicinity? No problem for the users of Audi MMI® connect – just take your Smartphone and use the integrated Point-of-Interest-search. You can find your Navigation addresses in advance and directly send these search results to your car to use them in the Audi MMI® Navigation. It is also possible to browse your addresses or calendar entries which include address details and send them to the car.

• Always find your favorite places : the Audi connect service picturebook navigation can now also be used from the Smartphone. Just send your photos (which include GPS data) from your camera roll or shoot new photos and send them directly to the picturebox that can be accessed in the car to use it as a navigation destination.

• Always have your individual music station with you regardless of where you are - at home or on holiday. Simply connect your own Smartphone to the MMI® navigation plus with MMI touch via Wi-Fi to gain access to an extensive range of global radio stations. The stations can be selected by musical genre or by free-text search and can be stored as favorites in your Smartphone where you can find them again quickly. Easy operation via integration into Audi MMI® navigation plus with MMI® touch. And if there's nothing on the radio to suit your own personal taste: simply use the MMI wireless connection to access your music stored locally on your Smartphone, select the desired track and press play.

• Search for events – the Audi connect service city events is now also available through the Audi MMI® connect App from outside of the car. You can search for events at home and send the address to your Audi MMI®

The experience of the connect services may differ due to insufficient data rate. Please also make sure to have a look on the bandwidth restrictions that is regulated in your mobile service provider contract.

Parts of the services are dependent on services from 3rd-party suppliers and may not work every time, unvaried and in every country. We recommend to use a data flat rate with high bandwidth – the resulting costs are part of your contract with your service provider.
