What can AutisMe do?

AutisMe gives you the space to express your personality, to create and change the way you want to be seen, understood and helped.

Likes and Dislikes

Use AutisMe to list the things you like and dislike.

You can add, edit and delete items at any time if you change your mind or if you find something cool that you want to record. Your lists are stored on your device and are always available with just a few taps. How much you put in is really up to you.

Things I am good at

We are all good at something and our strengths can surprise others, encourage you and help others appreciate you uniqueness.

AutisMe lets you add those things to your profile so you can always look and remind you and others of your strengths.. If you have had a good day and there is something you really want to remember, just add a new item. If you have had a bad day, just look back at all the things you have achieved and everything you are good at…….it does help!

My Challenges

AutisMe can help you grow, record the things you find challenging and things you might want to work on. Your challenges are arranged in simple lists in several categories . People will be able to find out quite quickly how autism affects you and the challenges you face day to day.

Explaining what makes you stressed or angry can be very hard, it isn’t always easy to get people to understand how you feel. Sometimes you might show stress in an unusual way. Your way! It is useful for others to know how they can tell you are getting stressed and then what works for you to relieve it.

Contacts

AutisMe is all about you and it is a great place to store contact information for people close to you or people you can call on for help. To take the worry out of remembering names, telephone numbers and email addresses, we have added a contact feature to AutisMe.

You can store contacts on your device, adding a name, a phone number, an email address and even a photo from your devices camera if you want to. These contacts can be used, added, edited or deleted at anytime.

You can also store an emergency contact who can be called from the app to assist if you need help.

Who are we?

The AutisMe team are a group of people who came together to create an app designed to promote and support the independence of children and teenagers with Autism, to encourage them to take control of their identity and make their personal choices heard.
