BTWave is a Bluetooth data acquisition tool that captures remote Bluetooth device BDADDRs, Friendly names, the RSSI and major number of the remote device. Along with this information the currently connected cell ID is stored with the LAC and the network operator code. Via the "Export to BTWave Desktop Agent" option the data is sent to our remote cloud server for processing. Alternately using the "Export DB to File" option exports the database to CSV file and that can be emailed to myself for addition into the global database. The data is needed as part of my MSc research project. All results will be published. All data will be kept anonymous.

The information will be used for DTN (Delay Tolerant Network) research.
