Ballot Compass mobile is a tier of the 3-Tier solution designed to monitor Nigerian election results in real time. It is designed for volunteers, election monitoring groups, political parties and aspirants of all sorts to cover Presidential, Gubernatorial, Senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assemblies election results. The app comes preloaded with all the political party details such as name, logo etc as such those not need any form of setup. Once downloaded, you apply for the activation code which activates your mobile phone for the necessary polling station. It is quite easy to use as you only have to input the results such as total votes accredited, total votes cast and invalid votes as well as the respective polls scored by each party. The results are then subsequently published.The app requires a 3G connection on your phone and in instances when such is not available, the app caches the results and once the 3G network is available after relocation from such polling stations, the results can be published.When results are published, they are immediately made available for viewing to following audience in real time.
