You can start doing the math or use this app to get the answer a little bit faster (unless you are really smart).

Features:

-Compare price per volume.

-Compare price per weight.

-Compare price per unit quantity.

-Compare imperial vs metric prices.

-Compare 2 or more items at the same time.

-Say what you want to compare in different ways. It probably can handle it.

Short hand input:

*Note* This assumes same units and format is: Price/Quantity

- 3/500 4.59/600 5/650

Compare volumes:

- 4 dollars for 3pints or $5.35 for 5.5L or 4 for 5.5L

- 3.99/400ml, 4.49/470ml

Compare weights.

- 4/3lb 5/50g

- 3 for 10pounds, 6 for 5kg

Compare unit quantity:

- $5.49 for 28 vs. 4.49/23

Known issues:

- Assumes US/Imperial.

- Ounce assumed as weight.

- Trying to compare different type of units such as volume vs weight will cause errors. This will change it to show error message in the future.
