Description

BeaconQuest was specially developed by EDSI-Tech for the School of Computing and Communication Sciences Open House, which is held on 22nd November 2014 at the EPFL campus.

BeaconQuest will make you discover and interact with a booming technology: iBeacons! These little Bluetooth beacons enable you to locate yourself indoors and you receive relevant information from the beacons depending on your location.

Please come visit us at stand 36 to begin the quest to find the moving beacon and win a goodie !

Note: You may download this app before the Open House but it will only make sense once you are on location, providing you have turned on Location and Bluetooth on your device.

About the IC School Open House :

The IC School will be celebrating two events on 22nd November 2014: the 30-year anniversary of the Computing department, and the 20-years of the Communication Systems department.

This event will be celebrated with plenty of different activities, which are free and designed for the general public: demos, conferences, workshops, LAN games, and immersive interactions in a virtual environment, etc…
