Lettuce, bell peppers, green beans and peas, broccoli, brown rice, spinach, melons, oranges, apples, grapes, can be a better option to have in your diet. These foods are not only colorful, but also rich in vitamins, fibers and minerals, accompanied with immense health benefits, without any added preservatives that make the food artificial, rather than natural.

5. Must eat your veggies:

To use a low-carbohydrate diet, it is easy to give an excuse. Other than potato, you have to try other green veggies as well. You can experiment with grilling veggies, and can add some butter to it, so as to add flavor. For any new experiments, buy a cookery book, in which you will get variety of veggies with a variation in the flavor too. Try it at home and you will develop a tasty tongue for these vegetables.
