The calculations of this app base on the European standard EUROCODE 2 for construction made of concrete, steel concrete and prestressed concrete. Additionally data of reinforcement bars and mesh is implemented. Already over 800 engineers and architects worldwide apply BetonTools for their daily work at the building site or the design phase of structural concrete components.Modules implemented:(1) Concrete Property ValuesDistribution of several concrete values in accordance with the concrete class, e.g. concrete compression and tensile strength, Young's Modulus, deformation values etc. Normal and light concretes are implemented.(2) Reinforcement Steel BarsCalculation of reinforcement steel bar weight depending on diameter, number of bars and length. Calculation of reinforcement steel bar cross section area for beam and plates/shells depending on diameter and distance of the bars.(3) Reinforcement Steel MeshCalculation of reinforcement steel mesh weight depending on different parameters.(4) Bond (Anchorage) Length of Reinforcement BarsIn dependance of the boundary conditions, e.g. concrete class, bond condition, diameter of the reinforcement bar the needed bond length is calculated.(5) Overlapping Length of Reinforcement BarsIn dependance of the boundary conditions, e.g. concrete class, bond condition, diameter of the reinforcement bar, rate of overlapping bars the needed overlapping length of the reinforcement bars is calculated.For all modules comments and assistance is given.The app is optimized for iPhone 3, 4, 4S display and for the new large iPhone 5 and 6 Retina displays.Thank you for using the App!
