This application was created to assist early readers, ages 3-5, with learning short vowel blends. If your child knows their vowel and consonant sounds they can incorporate these sounds into words. This is often a precursor to learning to read. The application allows the kids to use the android device as a digital flash card. On one side of the card is the blend and when you flip the card over you can see a word that includes the blend. The benefit of the application is that it allows the kid to also hear the sound that the blend makes or hear the word that has the blend in it. This beta version only includes the consonant B combined with short vowel sounds. The C and D sounds will be released in later versions will have more.
