BLUE MAX

The First World War was the first military conflict where aircraft were used in significant numbers. To begin with they were only really used for reconnaissance but as the war progresses so did the technology, which allowed fighters and bombers to fly over the Western Front. Military air supremacy became a significant fact of warfare this game looks at air supremacy on the Western Font.

Blue Max is an informal name of Pour le Mérite, a German military decoration from 1740 until the end of World War I.

Game Instructions

Each Player takes it in turn to deploy their planes without allowing the opposing Player to see their deployment. There is a screen that both Player watch to see the outcome of the game turns air combat. To win the game air supremacy hads to be achieved in 4 out of the 5 air combat zones.
