This alarm timer app provides an easy way for drivers to monitor their 15, 30 and 45 minute breaks using their mobile phone.

It has been designed so drivers can quickly add from 2 to 5 minutes onto a 15, 30 or 45 minute break. For speed all are on pre-set buttons - an alarm will sound at the end of the time period to alert the driver.

One of the biggest concerns with digital tachographs is that they record time in one minute blocks, rather than actual time including seconds. So, on any given journey, a driver can lose valuable minutes off the start and / or end of their break. Not even the new generation of digital tachographs due for release in October 2011 and October 2012 will completely solve this problem.

If a driver does not monitor and over-compensate for the possible discrepancy in the tachograph (take a couple more minutes rest) a short break could unintentionally result in giving an infringement on the Driver Card.

This TachoApp provides a simple way of adding additional minutes to a 15, 30 and 45 minute break, helping ensure long enough breaks are recorded.
