This children's tale by the Grimm Brothers, tells the story of a donkey who decides to escape from his master to become a musician in the city of Bremen, fearing to be sacrificed only because he is old and cannot work anymore as he used to. Along his way he finds a dog, a cat and a rooster who are in the same situation and decide to join him to form a musical group in Bremen. On their way to Bremen they will have to fight with a band of thieves, testing their bravery and courage.
