Bruce B. Jefferson was born in Mansfield, Ohio. He is a 1972 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and studied fine art at The Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio, under noteworthy artist – Al Newbill.
As he further enhanced his talent, Mr. Jefferson developed his own special style relying heavily on ‘touch and feel.’ Jefferson sometimes mixes precious metals into his works. His art can best be described as contemporary and spirit filled with great emotion using textures and placement of color at optimal levels. He is broadly known as being a colorist - recognized for being selective of color and the proper usage of it.
For the past twenty-two (22) years, Mr. Jefferson has been a full-time artist, in Chicago – having created and placed into homes and businesses over 1,800 pieces.
