This application is designed for health professionals working in the field of cardiac surgery who want to enter data instantly during Cardio-pulmonary Bypass (CPB). The data can then be transferred with ease to a server or printed out in PDF format. This application includes security features such as a check-list before initiating CPB, alerts to block CPB initiation if ACT levels are insufficient, or alarms to prevent interruption of CPB if breathing has not resumed. It automatically calculates the patient’s theoretical blood flow according to temperature. There is also the possibility to save personalised protocols in PDF format. Settings can be set easily and quickly by the administrator (default password is « 0000 », to be changed), to preset parameters such as : supplies used (manufacturer, names, references, sizes, expiry dates), type of myocardial protection used, names of surgical team members etc.
