Credemo (pronounced krey-dey-moh) – is a word creation game.The aim of the game is to create as many words as possible from the letters of a given base word. To that end, letters from a selected base word are placed on a checkerboard-like playing area, creating words that are linked – crossword fashion - to words already on the playing surface.Credemo can be played in single player mode or in competition mode against up to 3 other opponents.The Wonder of WordsYou will probably be amazed by how many different words can be made from seemingly simple words:Some examples: - WORDS has 23 hidden words - HIDDEN has 26 - WONDER has 66 - SURPRISE has 130!!! PlayingCredemo offers a number of playing options: - Single Play Mode or Multiplayer mode - Game-time setting (from 5 to 60 minutes) - Turn-time setting (from 1 to 5 minutes - in Multiplayer Mode) - Set the Number of Players (2-4) with ability to enter players’ ID - Sound effects on/off with volume control.To start the game you can use the Random Word generator or enter your own word.Words you choose must be between 5 and 8 characters in length. Created words can appear only once during each game, i.e. no duplicatesA word can be formed in any of four directions: forwards, backwards, upwards or downwards.ScoringOne point is awarded for each letter in the created word. Points are doubled if there is a valid word in both possible directions: forwards & backwards, upwards & downwards. Points are tripled for a palindrome: same word in both directions. ProgressList of words found so far is available during game. List of all possible words that can be created from the base word is available at the end of each game. In Single Player Mode, achievement tracking can be accessed from the Credemo main menu.
