CT-Expo 'Easy' is a small but powerful app for mobile devices based on the acknowledged CT-Expo dose evaluation software. It allows the calculation of gender-specific effective doses (according to both the previous ICRP 60 and the new ICRP 103 calculation scheme) for CT scans in various body regions.The dose calculation performed is independent from the type of scanner. Only the DLP values from the examination, either from the scanner's console or from the examination report, are required.The workflow is simple and straightforward:1) Select the scan region2) Enter the DLP value for each scan series3) Read the resulting dose valuesThe app is currently localized in 4 major languages (English, German, French, and Japanese) and can alternatively be obtained in a different design ('Classic' edition held in classic grey table style).
