CacheDownload2SD will bind the ROM /cache/download folder to SD Card, so for the ROM /cache/download activity will use SD Card free space.

CacheDownload2SD needs root permissions. You need to allow the SuperUser privileges to run this application. Without the SuperUser privileges, this application cannot bind and activate the move process to SD Card. Cache Download to SD (root) is not a placebo, nor a prank, nor a fake application.

This application is useful if you have a minimum ROM size. With this application, you can download from Google Play Store the application that have size more than your actual hardware ROM /cache folder size.

Try to make running in any ROM that missing export DOWNLOAD_CACHE with no ROM /cache/download folder build in (I hope will work, but not sure 100% for ROM without /cache/download folder build in and missing export DOWNLOAD_CACHE).

If your device missing export DOWNLOAD_CACHE and/or with no ROM /cache/download folder build in and this application is not working on your device because as describes, please do not give this application with low rating. Thank you.

Use back button to save and execute new setting (not the home button).

All my apps have "unique" method to unload and reload service. It will automatic kill itself to save RAM and will reactive the service when need it. Don't worry, this app still active even you cannot find it in the system as running.
