Ever wake up late only to realize you've an early meeting for the day? CalSync Alarm avoids such messy "Aw crap!" situations by automatically setting up alarms based on the first Official event of the day in the Android Calendar.

1. As an initial setup, input the times when you generally wake up and reach office.

CalSync will from then on, use the values to compute when an alarm needs to be scheduled based on each day's Calendar event. You will be automatically be directed to the Settings page when you open the App for the first time

2. You will be required to solve a simple math problem to stop the alarm. You can of course choose the difficulty which is by default set to Easy.

3. An auto alarm will be immediately created on opening the app. If no applicable Calendar events exist at that point of time, it will be created in a de-activated state. From then on, the same entry will keep getting updated.

4. Clicking on an Auto-Alarm will provide you an option to change some attributes like Alarm ring tone, Vibrate and Math problem difficulty.

5. CalSync regularly scans your Android Calendar for new events so no manual intervention is necessary. Just make sure you use Android Exchange to manage office emails and that the Email client is configured to regularly sync with the server so the Android Calendar is up to date.

6. After an auto-alarm is set, a notification is displayed indicating the time of the next alarm.

7. You can temporarily deactivate an Auto alarm set for a particular Calendar event. CalSync understands the particular event is not of importance to you and will re-activate only when an alarm is set for the next Calendar events in the future.

8. Long pressing the Auto-alarm will give you an option to view the associated Calendar event.

9. Apart from the Auto-set alarm, you can also create manual ones based on your requirement.

10. All the times are in 24h mode. No AMs and PMs.

Note:

1. This app is built on top of "Open Alarm Clock" which a plain vanilla Alarm application with an open source code in github. Many many thanks to the developer Sheldon Neilson. Of course, it required some performance tweaks and other modifications to make it usable for this project.

2. Full Network access is required only for Google Analytics to improve the user experience in the future updates.
