Call Schedule is two applications in one: a Call Schedule Viewer and a Rule-based Call Schedule Maker. Once entered, the ID is remembered so that each time you open the Call Schedule app, you see the updated scheduled loaded directly from the web.The person who makes the schedule becomes its owner and can edit and alter it, both from the iPhone and also on the desktop. All others have only read-only access.The Schedule Maker app allows you to make the entire schedule manually. However, its real strength is that it provides a set of customizable rules to make the schedule automatically. These rules are comprehensive and flexible enough to cover the needs of most call groups. An automatically made schedule can also be manually edited for fine tuning.This application provides the ability to count call assignments for each participant sorted by the day of the week so that the fairness rules may be observed. It includes ability to help balance calls for Weekends, Fridays and Thursdays.Call assignments can be equally divided among all participants or quotas can be individually assigned. Any number of Call Activities can be included in one schedule such as Night Call, Day Call, Evening Call, Office assignment, etc. The participants can be made available for only a subset of Call Activities e.g. some participants may be available for only Night Call, others could take Day Call only, yet others could be available for everything and be assigned quotas for each activity.Call Schedule application can remember the vacation days for each participant and avoids calls on these days.Call Schedule application is aware of US National holidays.
