CarGuard is a two-application, two-phone car anti-theft system:

1. CarGuard is installed on a phone hidden in your car

2. CarGuardControl is an application you install on your other phone for control purposes

This application's aim is to control CarGuard application via SMS messages.

Install this application on the phone that you carry with you on a daily basis.

Each button sends a different command via SMS to your CarGuard on the other phone:

1. Status: requests all status info:

1.1 CarGuard mode of operation (Disarmed, Alarm on, GPS tracking)

1.2 network connection type, data connection status (for battery saving - off)

1.3 battery level (%), type of charging

1.4 info on last location tracked via GPS lock:

1.4.1 latitude

1.4.2 longitude

1.4.3 accuracy

1.4.4 when was it obtained

1.4.5 speed at that lock

2. GPS tracking - enables GPS tracking (drains your battery), disables Alarm

3. Alarm - enables movement detection via accelerometer, disables GPS tracking

4. Disarm - disables both Alarm and GPS tracking

Typical scenario:

1. You are going to drive your car

2. Send Disarm command

3. After parking, send Alarm command to arm the CarGuard

Forgot to disarm CarGuard scenario:

1. CarGuard is activated

2. You are driving your car

3. You are receiving a call and sms updates from CarGuard

4. Drop the call, send Disarm command

5. After parking, send Alarm command to arm the CarGuard
