CheckSplit offers an elegant and easy way for groups to pay cash for a meal without wasting time making change, or splitting a check. Each member of the group inputs the bills in their wallet and the cost of their meal, and Checksplit will compute the simplest way for users to pay for their food by trading bills with other users.

For example: Checksplit will arrange for a user with only $20 bills to be able to pay exactly for an $18 meal by trading bills with other members of the group.

With Checksplit, the user will never have to overpay, borrow, lend, or waste time trying to coordinate swaps to correctly split the bill.

NOTE: Checksplit is a work in progress, and the underlying algorithm still needs to be tuned. Checksplit is also not guaranteed to work 100% of the time, due to the fact that sometimes, it is not possible (no matter how many trades are made) to solve the problem of payment.
