ChessCastle - funny and unique way to chess learning!

This is a free version of ChessCastle application. The application contains first 30 puzzles.

ChessCastle is made by Shakkilinna, which is a company specialized on chess teaching, coaching and creating study material. ChessCastle application provides a new interactive way to learn chess. The user may feel the presence of a real chess coach, who is ready to help, give a hint and support in both ups and downs.

The application is about carefully created puzzles, which are funny, fresh and instructive. Even the easiest puzzles has a new angle, that makes solving interesting also for those who have a lots of experience with chess. The first package of ChessCastle holds over 200 carefully made puzzles, which teaches the rules of chess and other basic ideas of playing chess.

The puzzle composers Mika Karttunen and Heikki Lehtinen have great experience in teaching, coaching and playing chess in international competitions. Both are international chess masters and appreciated chess pedagogues. They also have an academic background. Fide master Thomas Ristoja has also been a part of the composer team by analyzing and making translations of the puzzles. He has decades of experience in the field of chess teaching and writing chess books and articles in newspapers and chess magazines.
