Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s iPhone application is designed to assist, educate and entertain Zoo visitors and decrease the use of paper maps to navigate the Zoo’s 183 acres. See, hear and learn about the Zoo’s animals and exhibits and quickly find concessions stands, restrooms and gift shops. Included with the full Zoo map are expanded maps of each Zoo area including The RainForest, African Elephant Crossing, Northern Trek, African Savanna, Australian Adventure, Waterfowl Lake and Primate, Cat & Aquatics, as well as information on events and activities taking place at the Zoo. From the application, visitors will also be able to interact and share their Zoo experience with friends and family on numerous social media platforms. Future updates will include themed tours and activities, video content and expanded events coverage.
