Coda was formed in 2003 by David Cross and Mark Hobbs with the simple aim of delivering great Architecture to all projects big and small in a fun and enjoyable environment.

Now in our tenth year of business, Coda has grown to become one of the region’s leading multidisciplinary Architecture and Design practices with over ten awards and commendations to our name for projects in all sectors.

Now in our fourth office; a grade 2 listed former cutlers works in Kelham Island, Sheffield; Coda began life above a hairdressers in Barnsley but soon moved to Sheffield in an old workshop in Neepsend while our previous HQ; Hope Works, was constructed. Hope Works was to be our home for 6 years until our recent move to Cornish Place in the heart of Sheffield’s riverside regeneration district.

Coda merged with AC Liani and formed Coda Planning Ltd in 2013 and now boasts five Directors and three Associates with specialisms across all fields.
