Howdy Coinshooters and Metal Detectorists! This is the free, ad supported version of Coinshooter. Coinshooter is an extremely powerful tool for recording and tracking your metal detecting and relic hunting finds. How powerful? Here's a sample: Let's talk about my Indian Head penny finds as an example. With Coinshooter, with 1 tap, I can view all my Finds. Two more taps, and I can filter on Cent, Indian Head. Now I have a list of all of my Indian Head cents and can tell you that in the two years I've been detecting, I've found 6 of them. I can also see their thumbnail images and tell you their dates and the parks where I found them. With 1 tap, I can display a map showing the precise locations all of them were found, or with 2 taps, I can view all 16 photos I took of them, or with 2 taps, i can create a PDF report that includes key info about each of them along with all of the photos taken of each of them. And that's just scratching the surface. --- FEATURES --- - Organize and map your locations - See how many hunts and finds per location - View all find and location photos - Create PDF report of finds (with photos and descriptions) by location, hunt, year, month, find type, etc, etc, etc - Email or Tweet images...dead simple, and emails are only shared with the people you choose - Add finds to a hunt - Name and categorize finds without having to type...Typing in the field is not cool. Coinshooter comes with a bunch of predefined find names + face value + category combinations, or you can create your own - Get turn-by-turn driving directions to locations (available on iOS devices that have this capability) - Track when locations were founded, whether hunting is permitted, and other info - Organize locations into collections - St. Louis has 111 city parks alone - Search the web to get info on your finds and locations (no typing necessary!) - Map (or list) locations by collection or city/state or all locations - View list of hunts for locations - View, filter, summarize, and map all finds. Very flexible and strangely fun. - Slice and dice your finds by location, month, year, find name, and favorites...then map them or view their photos in the Photo Browser! - Browse all photos (for finds or otherwise) for a location - Map (or list) all the finds for a location - Track the VDI/TID and depth of finds for later analysis - Export locations and finds so the could be viewed in a spreadsheet (Coinshooter can email CSV files for locations by collection, city or all, and finds by location, hunt or all) - Export locations and finds and meta data (categories, find names, and other meta data that are used in the selection lists) so they can be imported to other devices that are running Coinshooter - Export locations and finds as GeoRSS files that can be imported into a popular online mapping program I hope you find Coinshooter easy to use and a truly valuable part of your kit. As the maker of Coinshooter, I respect your privacy and value my integrity. NO information is sent to anyone without you expressly entering their email address and emailing it to them, or without you expressly selecting the Tweet Image button on the Photo Detail page and then tapping send (an action that only posts to Twitter the image and text you see in the Tweet screen). Maps and Web Search send and receive network data as you would expect in order for them to function. Your information is yours and yours alone. Coinshooter helps you share it, but only if you want to.
