This unique, interactive and educational app by Curious Hat encourages children to explore, experience and experiment with the world of color in their immediate environment.This app uses your mobile device’s camera to transform it into Professor Vapori’s Color Vacuum so you can interact with your physical surroundings. Wherever you go, there are colors and the Color Vacuum will suck them up to stimulate observation and playfully teach color theory to all.The app offers 3 different play modes:- Collect: lets you explore and collect the colors around you. Observe the collected colors floating under the camera glass.- Search: lets you search the color previously collected by you or others- Vacuum: a more sophisticated Search mode that allows you to add or subtract small portions of color in order to find the final colorThis app educates by introducing the Additive Color System, where colors are created by different combinations of Red, Green and Blue light. The amount of such lights is clearly visible by observing the levels of the color 3 vials.The collected colors appear as floating bubbles under the glass.The more saturated the collected color, the bigger the bubble becomes.Color bubbles also like similar colors and they tend to stick together. The bubbles are also placed around the circumference following the color wheel (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple).Indoors or outside, this visually stunning app will activate curiosity and the desire to explore the amazing world of color.The app stimulates free, unstructured play.
