BETA! A browser for the Featured Images on the WikiMedia Commons (http://commons.wikimedia.org/), high quality images of nature, space, history, attractions and much, much more. These images can be downloaded, set as wallpaper or shared. Every image is available under one of the Commons-approved free licenses ranging from public domain works to Creative Commons licences which allow redistribution and modification with attribution.

In order to set an image as wallpaper, visit it on the Web or share it, simply select a section from the main list, and then long-click on any image. Each section has a list of sub-sections which contain even more images.

The Commons may contain some images that are unsuitable for some audiences, though these are rarely listed as featured images. As such, I've listed this as "Low Maturity." In general, these images are those that matched the highest standards of excellence on the site, and while some may deal with war, anatomy and related topics, they all exist for their educational and/or illustrative value to the various WikiMedia services (including Wikipedia).
