Communication Today is a scientific journal from the mass media and marketing communication field. It contains professional scientific reflections on the media, media competencies, discourse on the limits to reality, media thinking, new media, peculiarities of individual marketing types, psychology and sociology of marketing communication, the structure of media content, and marketing strategies and communication sciences. The professional public is offered an interdisciplinary, focused, targeted discussion in these pages. Communication Today is published twice a year and is a reviewed periodical. It mediates theoretical studies, theoretical and empirical studies, research results and their implementation into practice, as well as professional publication reviews. The members of the journal editorial board are members of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) and the journal is indexed in the databases: Cabell’s Directories, CEJSH, EBSCO, ProQuest and Ulrich's Periodicals Directory. It is currently under the indexing process with Index Copernicus, Scopus and Thomson Reuters.Communication Today je vedeckým časopisom z oblasti masmediálnej a marketingovej komunikácie zaoberajúci sa odbornou vedeckou reflexiou médií, mediálnych kompetencií, diskurzu hraníc reality, myslenia médií, nových médií, marketingu a vzťahov s médiami, nových trendov v marketingu, špecifík jednotlivých druhov marketingu, psychológie a sociológie marketingovej komunikácie a následne i štruktúrovania komunikátov, marketingových stratégií a komunikačných vied. Ponúka odbornej verejnosti interdisciplinárne zameranú diskusiu. Communication Today vychádza s periodicitou dvakrát ročne a je recenzovaným periodikom. Sprostredkováva štúdie teoretického charakteru, teoreticko-empirického charakteru, výsledky výskumov a ich implementáciu do praxe ako i recenzie odborných publikácií. Členovia redakcie sú členmi medzinárodnej siete European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) a časopis je indexovaný v databázach: Cabell’s Directories, CEJSH, EBSCO, ProQuest a Ulrich's Periodicals Directory. V súčasnosti prebieha proces jeho zaradenia do zahraničných databáz Index Copernicus, Scopus a Thomson Reuters.
