This mobile app is a complement to the Comparative Effectiveness Summits, a series of hybrid conferences that bring together seasoned hospital representatives, best of breed solutions companies, and savvy professionals with an understanding of the fundamentals of comparative effectiveness research (CER). The Summit and the app offer a chance to explore recent trends affecting the research process, and provide a venue for advocates and skeptics to debate the issues. Summit presentations will draw lessons from recent CER experiences and identify the practical implications of CER for various actors in the healthcare marketplace, including payors and health plans, hospital and health systems, physician organizations, clinicians and other healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturers. The Summits continue to offer onsite and online participation, and now includes this mobile app to enhance participation and provide yet another delivery channel for key information. The app includes links to previously held summits, as well as content and information for both current and future summits. Future additions will include previews of upcoming sessions, speakers and topics.
