This app uses the formulas referenced from Gas Processors Suppliers Association (GPSA) Engineering Data Book Eleventh Edition, 1998, eq 13-4 to estimate the power required to compress gas (SG=0.65) for large slow speed compressors having a compression ratio greater than 2.5.Given the inputs of suction pressure, discharge pressure and flow rate this app will calculate the number of stages, power, and compression ratio required.
