The Consumers' CHECKBOOK mobile app gives current CHECKBOOK subscribers access to ratings, comments, and advice on hundreds of different service categories designed for optimal viewing on your Android device.

Founded in 1974, Consumers' CHECKBOOK/Center for the Study of Services is an independent nonprofit consumer organization dedicated to providing consumers information to help them get high quality services and products at the best possible prices. CHECKBOOK evaluates the quality and prices of local service providers and stores, such as auto repair shops, plumbers, dentists, banks, insurance companies, and hundreds of other service categories. CHECKBOOK is available in seven metropolitan areas: Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Twin Cities, and Washington DC.
