Control4® Composer Express is a configuration tool exclusively for Control4 dealers that dramatically simplifies the install process, allowing dealers to minimize their time at job sites and increase their productivity during system setup. For smaller projects, use Composer Express standalone to create accounts, define a system, and connect devices. For more advanced projects, use it as a companion to the full Control4 Composer programming experience.

- View and add new customer accounts

- Register controller to a customer account

- Automatically add and identify a new controller into the project

- Set all project properties (date, time, timezone, location, locale & language, etc.)

- Discover and add zigbee and IP/SDDP devices

- Add devices from local and always current online database with audio, video, lighting, comfort, and security devices

- Create connections between devices (AV Inputs, AV Outputs, Control and Room)

- View Network status of all zigbee and IP devices (signal, battery, associated zserver)

- Update controller operating system to latest version

- Refresh Navigators and clear projects

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Composer Express is available exclusively to authorized Control4 Dealers.

2. A dealer user account is required to be in the same dealer account as the customer account to register a controller or for remote access.

3. Composer Express 2.7.0 works with Control4 OS v2.6 and later. If accessing a 2.6 controller, you will be prompted to update the controller to OS 2.7 or if you cancel, then you will be prompted to update to the minimum required controller API to use Composer Express. No restart is required.

4. Remote access support is limited to controllers with OS version 2.7.0 and greater and requires a Composer Pro license enabled on the installer’s account.
