Each Couple Talk question carries a number of subsidiary questions that are intended to help you develop the conversation. You may not need to use these questions if conversation develops naturally from the starting question but they may be useful in taking the conversation in different directions. As you use Couple Talk more you may find that you become better at having conversations and your need for the subsidiary questions lessens.Couple Talk also allows you to add your own questions. You may wish to add questions that are specific to your family, your situation, or maybe that contain “in jokes”. While Couple Talk is aimed primarily at adults in relationships, you may want to extend its use, perhaps as a game at dinner parties, or perhaps to use on long journeys with the family.
