The main purpose of the player is to give you more control on what's played next than a purely random playlist can do, while at the same time needing only minimal attention and effort. The cover shuffle player plays an endless stream of songs that's generated from your iPod music library. While the present song is playing, the player continuously fills up to four different queues with new random proposals for the next song to play. You either select the particular queue the player should continue to play songs from or you skip to a specific proposal immediately by double-tapping it.
